ABOUT US..
Located in Shoshone, Idaho, we are close to Twin Falls and less than two hours from Boise. Fall brings quail, chukar, duck, and goose hunting in our area along with pheasants and huns. Lee has hunted over and raised Griffons his entire life, and it is thanks to him that I learned about these amazing dogs. Rudy and Callie were the first Griffs I met of his, and I knew immediately this was the breed for me. Rudy was regal, beautiful, honest, and a tracking machine. Callie was sweet, kind, honest, beautiful and was always hunting for the next covey. His current dog, Knute, brings personality, endurance and incredible hunting instinct to our lives. Family dogs to the end, Griffons seem to know when to turn off the high-prey-drive instinct and play gently with children and stay quiet in the house. Tell them to "find the birds" and an entirely different look comes about them. My first Griff, Ashes, came from a breeder in Oregon who had purchased his first Griffon from Lee. Ashes has taught me so much about loyalty and forgiving mistakes (I made plenty) and she is a remarkable hunting and family dog. I decided to add Lou to the pack once I decided I wanted to have two breeding females. Lou is fantastic, and once again adds a different personalty and dimension to our family. She is the happiest dog I have ever known, all who meet her love her because she is instantly happy to see them (stranger or not) and she is an intense hunter.
